Process the ISED Canada Dataset

This command will process a previously downloaded ISED Dataset that has been stored by the program on your computer. It is generally used after you have used the 'Download Latest ISED Canada Dataset' command, though can also be used to process the last version that you previously downloaded, which is automatically saved until over-written by a newer version.

The command will take a couple of minutes to complete, as there is a huge amount of processing and table preparation involved. The current state of processing is displayed on the lower 'Status Bar'. Although you can cancel the processing at any time, this is not recommended, and will only need to be re-done at a later time.

All callsigns are georeferenced where possible, to provided a position for each call, but you should be aware that the positions are derived from the postcode associated with each address, rather than geocoding the actual address. This is more than sufficient for most Amateur Radio mapping needs, but will not show the actual house on a large-scale map.
